Happy Birthday to Tessy Antony de Nassau, former Princess of Luxembourg! The daughter of François and Régine Anne Antony and the sister of three brothers and one sister, she grew up in Luxembourg and joined the Army, notably joining the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo. She studied at Richmond, The American International University in London and SOAS, University of London. In 2006, she had her first son, Prince Gabriel, who is the first grand child of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, marring Prince Louis of Luxembourg a few months later. The couple had a second son, Prince Noah, in 2007, and announced their separation in 2017 and divorce in 2019. As a member of the Grand Ducal Family, Princess Tessy did not carry out many official engagements, though she did attend Royal events, including the National Day Celebrations. She has continued to work as a Social Entrepreneur and is the founder of charitable organisation Professors Without Borders and is a UNAIDS Global Advocate for Young Women and Adolescent Girls. I wish her a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!

  1. This was a young couple that I really thought would be able to beat the odds, but it was not to be. I was very sad to hear of their separation and divorce. She did really well in her studies, so I hope she will be able to carve a new life for herself and her boys. I wish her joy on her birthday!
