King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia were joined by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Sofia as they hosted the annual Sverigemiddag (Sweden Dinner) on the evening of September 14th at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. After greeting the guests in Queen Lovisa Ulrika’s Dining Hall, the Royal family proceeded to the dinner in the Vita Havet Assembly Rooms, where the King gave a speech. The dinner, first held in 2013, is for all Swedes who have made an important contribution to society.
