The Funeral of Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on this day in 1968. The service was conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Archimandrite of the Greek Orthodox Church. The princess’ coffin was carried into and out of the Chapel by eight officers from the three regiments of which she was Colonel-in-Chief.
