French State Visit to Denmark- Day 2

President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron of France are on a 2-Day State Visit to Denmark, where they are hosted by the Danish Royal Family. The Royal Family has numerous links to France, not least the French-Born late Prince Henrik and Princess Marie, as well as the family’s summer home, the Chateau de Cayx. Click HERE for Day 1.

In the morning, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, and Crown Princess Mary bid an Official Farewell to President and Mrs Macron at Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg, where they signed on the window pane. Later, the Crown Prince and President visited Dansk Industri and participates in a French-Danish business conference under the theme “Transforming France: A Nordic Perspective, while the Crown Princess and Mrs Macron visited the Rysensteen Gymnasium and received an introduction to the school’s “Global Citizenship Program”. The Crown Prince Couple and Presidential Couple also visited the Glyptotek and participated in a cultural event with a number of Danish artists and cultural figures.

In the evening, President and Mrs Macron hosted a Return Event at the Royal Playhouse Theater in Copenhagen, in honour of their Queen Margrethe. Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, and Princess Benedikte were also present.
