From a Noble Family

This sapphire and diamond pendant/brooch, circa 1910, features an oval sapphire set within a garland-style frame and comes from the collection of a Noble Family.

Emerald and Diamond Bracelet

Estimate: 18,000 — 28,000 CHF

From a Noble Family

An emerald and diamond bracelet, featuring collet-set and step-cut emeralds, from the 1950s, comes from the collection of a Noble Family.

Emerald, Ruby, and Diamond Necklace

Estimate: 25,000 — 35,000 CHF

Property of a Nobleman

Designed as a snake, this emerald, ruby, enamel and diamond necklace, fromt he 1840s, features cushion-shaped and rose diamonds, a pear-shaped cabochon emerald, and cabochon rubies.

Estimate: 80,000 CHF— 120,000 CHF

From the Collection of a German Princely Family

Composed of drop shaped natural pearls, capped with rose diamonds and set in seven detachable pendants, these jewels come from the Collection of a German Princely Family. The Pendents were previously on sale at Sotheby’s last November, but were not sold.

This pearl and diamond necklace of foliate and fringe design, comes from Princess Marie von Hatzfeldt, and has been inherited by the family of her son, Prince Hermann von Hatzfeldt and his wife, Countess Nathalie von Beckendorff.

Property of a Princely Family

This historic and highly important Farnese Blue diamond dates from 1714, when King Philip V married Italian Princess Elisabeth Farnese, with an inscription on the box saying: “Remarkable blue brilliant. This historical stone was offered by the Philippine Islands to Elisabeth Farnese, Queen of Spain, wife of Philip V, great grandfather of the Comte of Villafranca, current owner of that stone”.

  1. If money were no object, I’d go for the sapphire brooch. Even though the tiara is beautiful, its limited (or non-existent) future use for me works against it. But the brooch I would certainly use!
