I am the fortunate owner of a copy of The illustrated London News edition which tells about this wedding. One photo that sticks in my mind is of The Queen calmly trying to remove a rose thorn from her hand after receiving a bouquet at a pre-wedding party. Princess Alexandra was a stunning bride.
