Happy Anniversary to King Mohammed VI and Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco (wearing her Meander Tiara), who got married on this day in 2002 at the Dar al-Makhzin in Rabat. Celebrations included days of grand events, full of lavish traditional costumes and feasting, which concluded in July. The couple have two children, and Princess Lalla Salma is the first publicly acknowledged Moroccan Consort, who is usually seen at foreign royal events.
