Later, they met members of the Regiment before sitting for official Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess photographs, and afterwards met soldiers and their families. Finally, the Duke and Duchess attended the Guardsman’s lunch where the longest-serving Guardsman in the Battalion proposed a toast to the Duke and Duchess, and thanked the Duchess for presenting the gift of shamrock.

  1. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are such a handsome, lovely couple! They always look so delighted to be wherever they are. I love the Irish Guards black frock coat. It’s so sober and elegant. Prince William looks absolutely dashing when he wears it.

      1. He would have looked so handsome ii he had worn it for his wedding, but I know they probably didn’t want him to wear black on such a happy occasion. But, wow! He does look really nice in it! 🙂
