King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium are on a 6-day State Visit to Canada, from March 11th to 17th, at the invitation of Julie Payette, the Governor General of Canada (the representative of the Queen of Canada), to strengthen and celebrate political, economic and cultural ties between the two countries. Later, the couple visited the Art Gallery of Canada, and then the King attended a Power Lunch, while the Queen attended an Academic lunch at the University of Ottawa.
