Queen at St Mary’s Church, Islington

Queen Elizabeth II attended the Scripture Union’s 150th anniversary service of celebration at St Mary’s Church, Islington on December 6th in London. The service was recorded by BBC’s Songs of Praise for future transmission.

The congregation and service included Baroness Floella Benjamin, singer Katherine Jenkins, presenter Pam Rhodes, Bishop Paul Butler and local school children, SU volunteers and supporters.

The Queen wore a fuchsia coat and hat, pairing her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace with the Grima Ruby Brooch.
