Wedding of Viscount Linley

Happy 24th Anniversary to the Earl and Countess of Snowdon, who got married on this day in 1993, in London. The couple have two children and succeeded to the title earlier this year. In honour of their anniversary, we are featuring the wedding of the then Lord Linley and Serena Stanhope-

Lord Linley wore Morning Dress. Lady Linley wore a silk and tulle gown by Bruce Robbins with a simple veil and the Lotus Flower Tiara (borrowed from Princess Margaret) set in her large Nicky Clarke updo. The brides entire outfit was heavily inspired by the wedding look of her mother-in-law, Princess Margaret.

  1. This is a couple who are eminently well-suited for each other. They live quietly, working and raising their two children without fanfare of fuss. The 2nd earl Snowdon may have had very flamboyant parents, but he (as well as his sister) leads a life devoid of scandal or gossip. The Countess looked absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day. I wish them many more years of happiness together!
