King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima rode in the Class Carriage (instead of the usual Gold Carriage which is still being repaired) from Noordeinde Palace to the Ridderzaal (Hall of Knights), followed by Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien in another carriage. Upon arrival, the King and Queen were welcomed by officials before making their way to the Hall, where the King Willem-Alexander delivered his annual Budget Speech to the Parliament (read HERE), outlining the government’s agenda for the coming session. Afterwards, the couples returned in the carriage to Noordeinde Palace, where they waved from the balcony with Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien.
