The Tiara, which is composed of geometric diamond scrolls and has also been termed the ‘Oettingen House Diadem’, likely dates from the turn of the 20th century, and was notably worn by the current Princess zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg for the Wedding Ball of Duke Friedrich of Württemberg and Princess Marie of Wied at Schloss Altshausen in 1993.

Princess Angela also notably wore the Tiara at the Wedding of Prince Manuel and Princess Anna of Bavaria at the Stigtomta Church in Sweden in 2005.

The Princess wore the Tiara with her Diamond Necklace for the Wedding Ball of the Prince of Prussia and Princess Sophie of Isenburg in Potsdam in 2011

In 2014, the Oettingen-Spielberg Tiara was worn by Princess Theresa, the elder daughter of the Prince and Princess zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg, when she wed Carl-Christian Oetker, of the German baking dynasty.

When Baroness Cleopatra von Adelsheim married Hereditary Prince Franz Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg, in 2016, she wore the spectacular Oettingen-Spielberg Tiara for the Ceremony at the St. Jakob Church in Oettingen, with the Reception held at Schloss Oettingen.

The following year, Princess Nora of Oettingen-Spielberg, the younger daughter of the Prince and Princess, wore the Tiara for her Wedding to Lord Max Percy, younger son of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, at the Mariä Himmelfahrt Castle Chapel of Schloss Hirschbrunn

Most recently, the Princess zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg wore the Tiara for the Wedding Ball of Prince Ludwig and Princess Sophie of Bavaria at Schloss Schleißheim in Bavaria in 2023. There is no doubt we will continue to see the Tiara worn for years to come!
