Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein married Duchess Sophie in Bavaria (wearing the Douglas Floral Tiara) at the St Florin Cathedral in Vaduz, in a Ceremony officiated by the Bishop of Chur Wolfgang Haas, Dean Hans Baumann, Vaduz Priest Franz Näscher, Father Ferdinand Kinsky and Father Christoph Neipperg.

Following the Ceremony, the newlywed Hereditary Prince and Hereditary Princess left the Cathedral in a Procession through Vaduz ahead of a Luncheon at the Castle, ahead of a public festival held in the Städtle of Vaduz, where they received congratulations and small gifts from the people of Liechtenstein.

The Wedding Ball had been held at the Schloss Nymphenburg in Munich by the bride’s grandfather, the Duke of Bavaria, a week before the Wedding in Vaduz, and included Royal guests and Relatives from around Europe.
