King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the ‘Princesa de Girona’ Foundation Awards, where they presented the prizes to people with the intention of promoting and encouraging initiative and effort, scientific research and artistic creativity, Solidarity and the development of the talent of young entrepreneurs and innovators who show concern to build a fairer world in a globalized environment and that have the capacity to take risks and the motivation necessary to induce changes in society. The King also gave a speech in Catalan, Spanish and English.

King Felipe wore a double-breasted dark suit with a bright green tie. Queen Letizia wore a white jumpsuit with girandole earrings and the diamond bracelets from the ‘Joyas de Pasar’.
