King Willem-Alexander 50th Birthday Dinner

King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands hosted a Dinner at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam on April 28th, to mark his 50th Birthday on the 27th, for 150 guests that have a jubilee birthday the same day as the King. After the Dinner, the Royal Palace of Amsterdam is open for 50 hours, from 8pm on April 28th to midnight on the 30th, for free.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima greeted 150 guests that shared a jubilee birthday with the King at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam before a Gala Dinner. The King gave a speech, and afterwards, the guests toured the special birthday exhibition. Later, the whole group posed for a gigapixel photo in Dam Square before the Royal Palace was opened for the next 50 hours. Click HERE to view the photo.

King Willem-Alexander wore Black Tie. Queen Máxima wore a Jan Taminiau mauve and floral one-shouldered evening gown inspired by the wallpaper of the Huis ten Bosch Palace with her diamond tassel earrings, diamond bracelets, and pieces from the Dutch Ears of Wheat Tiara in her hair.
