Queen at Newbury Races

Queen Elizabeth II attended the Newbury Races at the Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire on her 91st Birthday, April 21st, and April 22nd. One of the Queen’s horses was racing each day.

On her 91st Birthday, April 21st, the Queen was accompanied by the Princess Royal to the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials Meeting at the Newbury Races. Unfortunately, her horse, Maths Prize, came 5th on a race.

On April 22nd, the Queen’s horse, Call to Mind, won at the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials.

On her birthday, the Queen wore a tweed coat with a pink hat, pairing her Three Strand Pearl Necklace with the Pearl Trefoil Brooch. On April 22nd, the Queen wore a blue coat and hat, pairing her Three Strand Pearl Necklace with the Flower Basket Brooch.
