Crown Princess Victoria in Japan

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is on a 3-Day visit to Japan from April 18th to the 21st as part of her for work as an ambassador for UN global sustainability in sustainability, marine and fisheries issues. She will attend the International Sustainable Oceans symposium on April 19th.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden started her visit to Tokyo by having lunch with Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan at the Imperial Palace. Afterwards, she attended a meeting at the Swedish Embassy to learn about Japan’s efforts on sustainability issues. In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria attended a reception at the Swedish Embassy for Japanese fishing companies and fisheries experts. Read her speech HERE.
