#10- Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg

One of the saddest events this month, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, husband of Princess Bendikte of Denmark (sister of Queen Margrethe of Denmark and Queen Anne Marie of Greece), died suddenly at Berleburg Castle in Germany on March 14th. Click HERE to read about his life→

#9- ABBA’s Dancing Queen at Swedish Royal Wedding 1976

Did you know that Swedish Pop Group ABBA’s famous song, Dancing Queen, was first performed live at the glittering pre-wedding gala of King Carl XVI Gustav and soon-to-be Queen Silvia of Sweden on June 18th, 1976? #8- Prussian Meander Tiara

Given as a wedding gift from the last Prussian Crown Prince to his bride, the Prussian Meander Tiara was worn by their Romanov daughter-in-law, her daughters, and her granddaughter-in-law, the Prussian Meander is one of the few remaining Tiaras in the vaults of the former Prussian Royal Family. #4- Duchess of Devonshire’s Tiaras

Written in September in honour of the 2-year death anniversary of the famous Debo, Duchess of Devonshire, this post on the Tiaras of the Dukes and Duchesses of Devonshire gained popularity earlier this month when replicas of the Tiaras were exhibited at the“House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion at Chatsworth”  exhibition at Chatsworth House, seat of the Devonshires, earlier this month. #3- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend Wedding in Jamaica

Prince Harry and his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, attended the wedding of Tom Inskip and the Hon. Lara Hughes-Young at Montego Bay in Jamaica on March 3rd. Tom Inskip is one of the Prince’s oldest friends. This was their first public social event as a couple. Click here for the post →

#2- Wedding of Filippos Lemos and Marianna Goulandris

Greek socialites Filippos Lemos and Marianna Goulandris got married at the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sophia in London on February 4th with two Kings, four Queens, and over 20 Princes and Princesses from British, Dutch, Spanish, Iranian, Greek, Luxembourgish, and Yugoslavian royals families in attendance.
