King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium will start their 3-day State Visit to Denmark later tay. The programme includes a State banquet this evening at Christiansborg Palace. All the Royal Ladies will be glittering in Tiaras. Vote below on what Tiara you think they will wear;

Usually, Queen Margrethe wears the Baden Palmette Tiara and the Turquoise Daisy Bandeau for smaller Banquets, leaving the Pearl Poiré Tiara and Floral Aigrette Tiara for Banquets for close allies or royals relatives. My personal guess is that Queen Margrethe will wear Pearl Poiré Tiara.
Queen Mathilde has worn the Nine Provinces Tiara at all foreign royal events since becoming queen, she even debuted the full version of the Tiara at Queen Margrethe’s 75th Birthday celebration, in 2015. My guess is that she will wear the Nine Provinces Tiara again, or maybe she might surprise us and debut Queen Fabiola’s Spanish Wedding Gift Tiara.
Crown Princess Mary
In the past, Crown Princess Mary has only worn her Wedding Tiara for State Banquets, leaving the Ruby Parure for grander occasions such as the New Year’s Levee and Official Portraits. However, recently she has been wearing her new Necklace Tiara, which is my personal guess for tonight’s banquet. Crown Princess Mary might also chose to wear the Midnight Tiara, on loan to her, which she has worn only a handful of times.
Princess Marie has worn her Diamond Floral Tiara for all of her Tiara occasions except one, and my personal guess is that we will see it again at the State Banquet tomorrow. Her other tiara, the Flora Danica, is loaned to her.
Since Princess Bendikte is still mourning the loss of her husband, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein- Berleburg, Princess Elisabeth of Denmark, a cousin of Queen Margrethe is attending the Banquet. She will probably wear her own tiara, Princess Thyra’s Sapphire Tiara, at the Banquet.
