Queen Elizabeth II presented Leeks to The Royal Welsh Infantry Regiment to mark St. David’s Day at Tidworth Barracks in Wiltshire on March 3rd. The Queen is Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment. She also presented Leeks to The Royal Welsh was 10 years ago, in 2007.

The Queen the The Royal Welsh infantry regiment at Tidworth Barracks to mark St. David’s Day. After inspecting the Parade, she presented leeks to some of the Regimental Family, and said “I am delighted to be able to present leeks to representatives of the Regiment, from cadets to comrades and to meet the new mascot, Llywelyn.” Later, in the Officers’ Mess, The Queen met soldiers past and present to find out more about life in The Royal Welsh
