Happy Birthday to King Jigme of Bhutan, also known as the Dragon King, who turns 37 today. The eldest son of the fourth Dragon King of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, and his third wife, Queen Tshering Yangdon, Jigme Khesar was appointed Crown Prince in 2004, and has been King of Bhutan since 2006. He was educated in Bhutan, India, the US, and at Oxford. In 2011, King Jigme married Jetsun Pema. They couple had  a son, The Gyalsey, Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck, last February. In recent years, the King and Queen of Bhutan welcomed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the King and Queen of Sweden in their tiny Himalayan Kingdom. We wish His Majesty a very Happy Birthday!
