British Asian Trust Dinner 2017

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended a star studded reception and dinner for the British Asian Trust at the Guildhall in London on February 2nd. The Prince is the President of the British Asian Trust. The Prince is the President of the British Asian Trust, which tackles poverty in South Asia and the UK. It was founded at the suggestion of the Prince of Wales in 2007.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended a reception and dinner for  supporters of the British Asian Trust at the Guildhall in London.  They met with leading British-Asian celebrities such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Gurinder Chadha, Sajid Javed and Nihal Arthanayake. The Prince gave a speech to leading British Asian celebrities, marking the success of the charity by saying, “I had no idea the British Asian Trust would change the lives of 3 million people in South Asia.

The Duchess wore a green velvet Vivienne Westwood gown with her Saudi emerald necklace and diamond pear-drop earrings. The Prince of Wales wore Black Tie.
