With the Nobel Banquet in Stockholm later today and the King’s Dinner tomorrow, us Royal Watchers will be spoiled with the glittering tiaras on the heads of the Swedish Royal Ladies. Here we will guess what tiara Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Sofia, and Princess Madeleine will wear at the Nobel Prize Banquet. The King’s sister, Princess Cristina, isn’t going to attend since she is still suffering from chronic leukemia. As always, click HERE to learn about all the Tiaras mentioned-
Queen Silvia usually alternates between the Leuchtenberg Sapphire Parure Tiara and the Nine Prong Tiara for the Nobel Prizes. Last year she wore the Nine Prong, so my guess is she will wear the Leuchtenberg Sapphire for the banquet this year.
Crown Princess Victoria has developed a tradition of debuting new (or fairly new) pieces from the family collection for the Nobel Banquet. Last year she wore the Connaught Tiara, the year before she wore the family diamond cross necklace, and in 2012, the Crown Princess wore the Bernadotte emerald parure for the first time.
Princess Sofia has only worn one Tiara since her wedding last year, her Emerald Wedding Gift tiara. Will she wear another tiara from the family collection for this years Nobel Banquet?
Princess Madeleine usually wears her Modern Fringe Tiara for the Nobel Banquet, but last year she surprised everyone by wearing her aunt’s Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara. Will she wear another tiara this year? or will she stick to her favourite Modern Fringe?
