Festival of Remembrance 2016

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were joined by members of the royal family for the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance a Royal Albert Hall in London on November 12th. This year marks the centenaries of the Battle of SommeBattle of Jutland, the 25th anniversary of Gulf War and 80th anniversary of Supermarine Spitfire.

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were joined by the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, the Earl & Countess of Wessex, the Princess Royal & Sir Tim Laurence, the Dukes of York, Gloucester and Kent, Prince and Princess Micheal of Kent, and Princess Alexandra, Lady Ogilvy for the procession into Royal Albert Hall, and the performance by military bands.

The Queen wore a black coat dress, pairing her Three Strand Pearl Necklace with the Bronte Porcelain Brooch. The Duke of Edinburgh wore a black suit with the regimental tie of the Royal Navy and medals.

The Prince of Wales wore a navy suit with the regimental tie of the Fleet Air Arm and medals. The Duchess of Cornwall wore a black lace dress with her Pearl Choker with Large Diamond Clasp. The Duke of Cambridge wore a navy suit with the regimental tie of the Household Division and medals. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a black coat.

The Countess of Wessex wore a black lace dress. The Princess Royal wore a black dress with pearls and her diamond star brooch. Princess Alexandra wore a black dress with a pearl choker and diamond petal brooch.
