Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway spent day 2 of their Official visit to Canada on November 8th in Torronto. They attended a music and literature industry seminar, a seminar at Ryerson University, a reception at the Norwegian Embassy, and a screening of “The King’s Choice.”

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit started Day 2 of the Official Visit to Canada in Toronto. They attended a parallel music and literature industry seminar at Hart House. They also attended a Social Innovation seminar at Ryerson University’s Student Learning Centre, and a networking reception hosted by the Embassy  with Innovation Norway and Ryerson University

In the evening, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended a screening of “The King’s Choice” at TIFF Bell Lightbox. The film, which is Norway’s Oscar contender this year, tells the story about the three days in April 1940 where the German military gave the Norwegian King (Crown Prince Haakon’s Great Grandfather) an ultimatum of surrender or death. The Crown Prince gave a speech.
