King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima in Perth

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands started their five-day State Visit to Australia on October 31st in Perth. They attended a welcome ceremony and visited the Shipwreck Galleries in Fremantle. They also met members of the Dutch community in Australia.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands started their State Visit to Australia at a welcome ceremony in Perth. They saw names of Dutch immigrants that arrived in Australia. They visited the Shipwreck Galleries in Fremantle, before hosting a reception for members of the Dutch community in Australia.

 King Willem-Alexander wore a dark suit with a blue tie. Queen Maxima wore a beige and neon turquoise Mattijs van Bergen dress with a beige headpiece and Queen Juliana’s turquoise sautoir, worn for the first time in decades.
