King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain were joined by the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia for Spanish National Day on October 12th in Madrid. The Royal family attended a Flag Ceremony, a military parade, and later held a reception in the Royal Palace of Madrid.

They also attended the Spanish National Day Military Parade, where King Felipe laid a wreath as a tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain. The family returned to the Royal Palace of Madrid, where King Felipe and Queen Letizia gave the traditional National Day reception for dignitaries in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace of Madrid.

King Felipe wore military uniform with orders. Queen Letizia wore white and black embroidered coat dress with pearl & diamond earrings. The Princess of Asturias wore a navy blue coat. Infanta Sofia wore a red coat.
