In honour of the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej on October 13th, we take a look at the World’s longest reigning sovereigns:  King Bhumibol Adulyadej (70 years) and Queen Elisabeth II (64 years & counting). King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand with Queen Elisabeth II of Great Britain on October 28th, 1996 during the British State Visit to Thailand.  Queen Sirikit is wearing a diamond necklace and earrings. Queen Elisabeth II is wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara and the Delhi Durbar Parure.
