Belgian State Visit to Japan- Day 4

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Nagoya on the last day of their State Visit to Japan. They traveled from Yuki to Nagoya on a Shinkansen train. Queen Mathilde toured a department store and attended a luncheon with representatives of the Japanese automobile industry.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde traveled from Yuki to Nagoya on a Shinkansen train. The King learned about the 10 millions Japanese cars shipped to Belgian ports, while the Queen  saw a showcase of Belgian products at the Matsuzakaya department store in Nagoya. The royal couple had luncheon with representatives of the Japanese automobile industry.

The King and Queen visited the Tokugawa Art Museum, before returning to Tokyo on the train. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde held a concert in honour of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, before giving an official farewell to their hosts.

Queen Mathilde wore a knitted grey dress with red accessories and pearl & diamond earrings. King Philippe wore a black suit with a red tie. For the concert, he wore a black suit with a purple tie, the Queen woe a green floral skirt with a silk blouse.
