HM the Queen attended the annual Braemar Gathering in Scotland on September 3rd. She was accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, and the Princess Royal.
The Royal family were driven to their stand on Royal Deeside, and sat down after meeting officials. They watched traditional Scottish activities such as tug-of-war and Highland dancing, and bagpipe bands.
The Queen wore a mauve coat and hat, pairing her customary three strand pearl necklace with the Braemar Feather Brooch. The Princess Royal wore a tartan skirt with a navy coat. The Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales wore Kilts.
