King George V’s Silver Jubilee, 1935

 

The service at Westminister Abbey for the Silver Jubilee (25th Anniversary) of King George V. It was one of the last occasions he was seen healthy before he died in January 1936. Most of the members of the then British Royal family were present. From left-right: Duke of Kent, Duchess of Kent, Duke of Gloucester, Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of York, Princess Margaret, Duke of York, Princess Victoria, Prince of Wales, Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood, Earl of Harewood, King George V, and Queen Mary.
