Queen’s Award for Enterprise Reception at Buckingham Palace

HM the Queen hosted a reception for the recipients of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion on July 14th at Buckingham Palace. The Queen was joined by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and other members of the Royal Family.

The Queen hosted more than 500 guests, including those recognised for outstanding contributions to promoting and enhancing enterprise among UK entrepreneurs and companies. The Queen also met Greg Clark, the newly-appointed business, energy and industrial strategy secretary, who said: “It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring together energy, climate change, industrial strategy, business support and science.” Princess Eugenie, the Dukes of Gloucester and Kent and Prince & Princess Michael of Kent also attended the reception.

The Queen wore a floral dress printed with pink and yellow tulips, pairing her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace with the Cullinan V Brooch. The Duke of Edinburgh wore a grey suit with a blue tie. The Princess Royal wore a white jacket with gold jewelry and a seahorse brooch.
