Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at EACH Gala

TRH The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge attended the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices ‘A Taste of Norfolk’ Gala at Houghton Hall on the evening of June 22nd. The Duchess is the Royal Patron of the organization, she launched the nook appeal in 2014, this Gala was held to support and raise money for the appeal. The Gala was hosted by The Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley at Houghton Hall, one of the finest Palladian houses in Norfolk. The Duke and Duchess are great friends with the Marquess and Marchioness, due to the proximity of Amner Hall, the home of the Cambridge’s, and Houghton.

The evening started with a champagne reception featuring musical entertainment by the Jefford Brothers and Sam Aldersey-Williams and magician Archie Manners., followed by a special five course meal served with courses created and cooked by five world renowned chefs. Dinner was brought to a close with speeches from critically acclaimed author and EACH Ambassador Anthony Horowitz OBE and The Marquess of Cholmondeley.

The Duchess of Cambridge repeated a sequinned rose Jenny Packham gown from the ARK dinner in 2011 with the Queen’s Diamond Chandelier Earrings and Queen Mary’s Diamond Bar Choker Bracelet . The Duke of Cambridge and Lord Cholmondeley wore black tie. Lady Cholmondeley wore an embroidered floral dress with a jet hair-clip.
