The Norwegian Royal Family joined Princess Ingrid Alexandra for a Gala Dinner hosted by the Norwegian Government at Deichman in Oslo on June 17th, launching her delayed 18th Birthday Celebrations. Princess Ingrid Alexandra turned 18 in January, but the celebrations were delayed due to the pandemic, with a grand Banquet with foreign Royal Guests scheduled for tomorrow.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway, the second-in-line to the Norwegian Throne, is celebrating her 18th Birthday today! While most of the formal events, including two Gala Dinners with many royal guests, have been rescheduled for late Summer, there were still a series of events held today!

The Swedish and Norwegian Royal Families have been presiding over the annual Nobel Prize and Nobel Peace Prize Ceremonies in Stockholm and Oslo today, after a break last year due to the Pandemic. This year’s ceremonies are much reduced than usual, without the glittering Banquets, so instead of having two separate articles, we are compiling both Ceremonies into one article!

The July 22nd Attacks were carried out by right-wing terrorist, Anders Behring Breivik, who killed eight people by detonating a van bomb in in Oslo, and then killed 69 participants of a Summer Camp in a mass shooting on the Island of Utøya.
