Most of the Royal Families around the world have started their Annual Summer Holidays, and many of the European Royal Families have been releasing their Summer photos or posing for photo calls, and unlike previous years, when we featured each one individually, this year, we are rounding them all up in one article. King Harald V of Norway is hosting President Moon Jae-In and First Lady Kim Jung-sook of South Korea, who is on a State Visit to Norway on June 12th and 13th, to celebrate and build diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties. The Presidential Couple will then be visiting Sweden. Queen Sonja and Crown Princess Mette Marit are absent due to sickness. Continue reading
The Norwegian Royal Family celebrated Constitution Day, the National Day of Norway, on May 17th by greeting the annual Children’s Parade in Asker from Skaugum (residence of the Crown Princely family) and another from the balcony of the Royal Palace of Oslo. Continue reading
Royals from around the World are attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week from January 22nd to the 25th. The World Economic Forum is a yearly gathering that brings together leaders of global society, Heads-of State, global companies, leaders of international organizations and prominent cultural, societal and thought leaders to define priorities and shape global, industry and regional agendas. King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the annual Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony and Banquet in Oslo on December 10th. While the other Noble Prizes are awarded by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, only the Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo. Continue reading
