The Wedding of Archduchess Monika von Habsburg, the second daughter of Archduke Otto von Habsburg and Princess Regina of Saxe-Mainingen, (wearing the Habsburg Pearl and Diamond Bandeau) and Don Luis María Gonzaga de Casanova-Cárdenas y Barón, 5th Duke of Santángelo, son of the Duke of Santángelo and the Duchess de Maqueda, on this day in 1980 in Pöcking, Germany, followed by a Reception at Villa Austria. Royal attendees included her grandmother, Empress Zita of Austria. The couple have four sons, and reside in the Castle of La Rápita in Vallfogona de Balaguer, where they are involved in the civic and charitable activities of the regional Spanish chivalric orders of the Real Cuerpo de la Nobleza de Cataluña and the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Valencia.
