The Queen (wearing the Girls of Great Britain & Ireland Tiara with the Robes and Insignia of the Order of the British Empire) and Duke of Edinburgh are joined by Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester (in the Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara) and Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent (wearing the Kent City of London Fringe Tiara) as they preside over the Dedication of the Chapel of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on this day in 1960. They also attended the 50th Anniversary Service in 1967 and the Centenary Service in 2017.
