The Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg hosted a New Year’s Reception for members of the Government, the Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies, the Council of State, representatives of the Judiciary, Heads of the Administration and Foreign Ambassadors at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg City on the evening of January 16th. Grand Duke Henri (in the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau) was joined by Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie (in Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte’s Sapphire Necklace Tiara and the Order of Adolphe of Nassau), and Princess Alexandra (wearing the Chaumet Pearl and Diamond Choker Tiara and the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau). This Reception will replace the annual National Day Gala in June.
