The Queen (wearing Prince Albert’s Sapphire Brooch) was accompanied by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland) as she made her way to the Sunday Service at Crathie Kirk near Balmoral Castle on September 7th, during her annual summer holiday at Balmoral in the Scottish Highlands.
Aahh……the Albert Sapphire brooch! What a beauty, and how perfectly appropriate for September! They’re all wearing coats and here I am sweating in 100 degree weather. The Queen sure knows what she’s doing when she heads for Scotland in the summer!
