Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway was Confirmed into the Church of Norway in the Royal Chapel of the Royal Palace of Oslo on August 31st, by the Bishop of Oslo, Kari Veiteberg, and Bishop Helga Haugland Byfuglien, in the same Chapel where she was Christened. The Ceremony was followed by an Official Luncheon hosted by King Harald and Queen Sonja at the Royal Palace, with many speeches. Unlike previous Confirmations, there was no White Tie Gala Dinner, but the Royal Family attended a Black Tie Dinner at Skaugum.

Alongside the members of the extended Norwegian Royal Family were her godparents, King Harald, Princess Martha Louise, Marit Tjessem, King Felipe of Spain, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, with Crown Princess Mary and Prince Christian. The Princess received many gifts.
