Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Morocco- Day 3

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex started their day at the Royal Equestrian Club in Rabat, where they saw how equine therapy helps disabled children and young people with mental health challenges. Afterwards, the Duke and Duchess took part in a cooking activity with children from disadvantaged backgrounds, with awarding-winning Chef Moha, known for reinventing Moroccan cuisine. The organisation enables children from under-privileged backgrounds to learn more about cooking traditional Moroccan food.

Later, the Duke and Duchess visited Rabat’s Andalusian Gardens to meet some of Morocco’s young social entrepreneurs, who are working to address youth unemployment and supporting vulnerable communities. They saw more of Moroccan’s vibrant culture and met local artisans who showed them some of their creations.

In the afternoon, the Duke and Duchess had an audience with King Mohammed VI of Morocco at the Royal Residence in Rabat, and presented letters from the Queen. Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, Princess Lalla Hasna and Princess Lalla Meryem a were also present at the Tea.

  1. That is such a lovely blue dress the Duchess is wearing! I have really liked her look during this trip. Her gowns have been very elegant and very becoming. She must be exhausted, though! I think she must be in her last trimester, so she should take it easy when comes back. By the look on the King’s face- and the fact that he and Prince Harry might have coordinated their suits!- it appears like this visit was a resounding success. Well done!
