The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of 100 Women in Finance’s Philanthropic Initiatives, attended a Gala Dinner in aid of ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’, at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on February 13th. The Duchess attended a private reception before making a short speech ahead of the dinner. Launched at the beginning of 2018, ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’ is one of the legacy programmes from the Heads Together campaign, which aims to help people of all ages start conversations about their mental health. 100 Women in Finance (100WF) is a leading non-profit organisation for professionals in the alternative investments industry. Net proceeds from this year’s Gala Dinner will be given to The Royal Foundation’s Mentally Healthy Schools Programme.

  1. Her choice of earrings is spot on, as well as wearing her hair half up and half down. But I must say that the bodice of that dress is about as unflattering as it can get. It looks like she has really tight bandages, flattening her chest to the utmost. I would consign this dress to the recycle bin. However, I must say the colors look very nice on her. She’s such a lovely woman, I guess any color would look good on her!

  2. BTW, highlighting “Mentally Healthy Schools” is so necessary! Kids are being bombarded in every direction by relentless social media that both delights and distresses them. Sometimes kids can’t cope with it because they don’t have the skills to do so. I applaud all efforts to help them navigate those rough waters.
