Happy Birthday to Princess Anne, the Dowager Duchess of Calabria! The third daughter and fifth child of the Count of Paris, the Orléanist claimant to the former French Throne, and Princess Isabelle of Orléans-Braganza, she is the sister of, among others, the current Count of Paris, the Duchess of Württemberg, the Duke of Orléans, and the former Duchess of Aosta. In 1965, she married Infante Carlos, Duke of Calabria, one of the claimants to the former Throne of the Bourbon-Two Sicilies. The couple had five children, including the current Duke of Calabria and Archduchess María of Austria, and resided in Spain, where they are regarded as extended members of the Spanish Royal Family, remaining happily married until his death in 2015. The members of the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies undertake official engagements on behalf of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, and Princess Anne also undertakes some engagements on behalf of the Spanish Royal Family, though she is usually seen at society and family events, like the Wedding of Prince Philip of Serbia and the Wedding of the Duke of Huéscar. I wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
