Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Australia- Day 5

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on their first official Tour as a married couple, to Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand, from October 16th to the 31st, mainly in connection with the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney. On the morning of October 20th, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Official Opening of the extension of Sydney’s new ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Memorial in Hyde Park. Later, they traveled by boat to attend the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge on Cockatoo Island.

In the evening, the Duke and Duchess attended a Reception hosted by the New South Wales Premier, The Honourable Gladys Berejiklian, at the Sydney Opera House, prior to attending the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 Opening Ceremony where the Duke gave an address.

The Duke of Sussex wore his Blues & Royals Tropical Dress Uniform with his Aide de-Camp aiguillette (for the first time), Medals, and the Neck badge and Star of the Royal Victorian Order. The Duchess wore the Emilia Wickstead Camilla dress with a Philip Treacy Hat. For the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge, both changed into Invictus Games shirts. AT the Opening Ceremony, the Duke wore a grey suit with a blue tie and the Invictus Badge. The Duchess wore a Stella McCartney Dress with a Gillian Andersen Coat.
