— The Prince and Princess of Wales (@KensingtonRoyal) October 2, 2018The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden at the Paddington Recreation Ground on October 2nd, which gives inner city children a unique opportunity to learn about and engage with the natural world. She met children from the St Stephen’s School and St Augustine’s Primary School, and saw the positive impact that the Forest School has on children’s emotional and physical wellbeing as she was shown the wildlife garden and met children involved in exploratory and investigative outdoor activities. The Duchess also heard from instructors and teachers about the beneficial effect that outdoor learning and being around nature can have on children’s mental health, wellbeing and development. This was the first engagement on her full-time return to Royal Duties after the birth of Prince Louis.
