Crown Princess Mary in Finland

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is on a Business Visit to Finland from September 13 to 14, with a larger Danish Business Delegation, focusing on maritime industry, urban solutions, and Nordic cuisine. The Visit, which marks the Centenary of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Finland, was originally planned for Crown Prince Frederik, but has been taken over by the Crown Princess due to his recent surgery.

On September 13th, Crown Princess Mary arrived in Helsinki, where she attended an Official Welcome at the City Hall, which was followed by the “Urban Solutions in the Nordic Area” Conference, after which she met Danish companies. Later, the Crown Princess had Breakfast at the Parliament before attending a Conference in the Stora Enso Headquarters and a New Nordic Food event,  where Danish food and beverages are exhibited to potential Finnish customers. In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended an Official Dinner at Finlandia Hall, celebrating the 100-years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Finland, which was also attended by Danish and Finnish companies, organizations, and officials.
