Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, accompanied by Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine, are on a four day visit to the Faroe Islands, one of the autonomous countries within the Kingdom of Denmark. The family is residing on the Royal Yacht Dannebrog.

On August 23rd, they were officially welcomed in Tórshavn by Faroe Island Prime Minsister Aksel V. Johannesen. Afterwards, they visited the rowing club Knørrur ,the Government Buildings at Tinganes, and attended a Official reception given by the Tórshavn mayor before visiting the school at Argjahamri and the Finnish Finsen in Tórshavn center. Later, they visited the Glasir college, the day center Býlinghúsið undir fjall, the Sea Workhouse, and in the Attic. In the evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a banquet at the Nordic House.
