King George VI and Queen Elizabeth are joined by Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret amongst children at the King’s Camp in the grounds of Balmoral Castle on this day in 1939, where 400 public schoolboys and working industrial boys were staying as guests of the King.

  2. I actually remember this as princess Elizabeth bugged the living crap out of my beloved mother & father to please go home I stayed & supported them for a little bit but I was kinda bored due to all boys..
