Dutch State Visit to Luxembourg- Day 3

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of The Netherlands are on a 3-day State Visit to Luxembourg to strengthen political, economic, and diplomatic ties, from May 23rd to 25th. The Dutch Royal Family have close ties to the Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg, especially since the Grand Duchy used to be part of the Kingdom of The Netherlands until 1890.  

On the final day of the State Visit, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima visited the Neobuild and CFL Multimodal in Bettembourg, they they looked at innovative techniques that are used to ensure safe and efficient transhipment of containers between rail and road.

Afterwards, the Royal couple hosted a reception for the Dutch Community at the Dutch residence in Luxembourg, where they met Dutch living and working in Luxembourg. The State Visit ended with a farewell ceremony at the Grand Ducal Palace.
